I dont have to be a TDR veteran or anything else to know poor service when I see it. The question here has any one else recieved this type of service from PDR and if you look at the posts you will see I stated I might have been a little hasty in my judgment.

Thanks for your feedback.

BTW you will note I didnt use an alias when I signed my post. Maybe PDR will contact me and fix it or ask for their crap back.

All I'm gonna say about this is the folks at PDR know more about diesels and diesel theory than most of us will ever know, maybe combined. Just be sure you're asking them the right questions, because you'll ask them something and they'll be about 10 steps ahead of you when figuring out what will work best, and that goes for customer service. They know people may not really know what they really want or need, and so they try to very quickly determine your needs and inject their ideas on how best to make your stuff work right. There's lots of ways to spend $1000-worth of stuff that won't work together properly. They won't sell you a mismatched combo, and they'll steer you away from buying something that'll jack up yer truck. They're first rate folks, and they're on top of a very dynamic market. Just be ready for their advice on your suggestions, and be ready to maybe be dissapointed. If you go into the mods with all of that in mind you'll be a lot happier with the results. I don't know how many times I'm talked to Mark, Harry, Bob, Morgana, and Piers about all kinds of ideas, and they always take the time to make sure I don't screw up my stuff. They're also incredibly busy all the time, not to mention the dyno and tuning days they host. If someone had bad customer service then I'd say that's the exception verses the rule. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I would also recommend PDR to anyone, anytime! Many times have they discouraged me in my over-adventurousness, to their detriment. Like Sam said, first rate folks, IMO. Hank

Piers

PDR is great and is probably about the only place that has parts for our older/chalenged pickups anymore. I would recomend them to anyone looking to fix or modify there pickups. I hope when "Basullivan" reads all of the posts on how great PDR is he might cool down a bit. I am sure that PDR will make it right.

easy, easy!

All I have to say is that my first order ever from Piers is due in tomorrow, a PDR hx-35, i missed it today because of class. I'm sure that it will be in top notch condition when it arrives with all appropriate components. I've talked to Harry on a number of occasions, and he has been nothing but helpful. He didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need just to make more money, AND he cut me a discount!! I think that is a very noble move of PDR and, yeah, sometimes "stuff" happens, thats life, man. Take it with a grain of salt and get on to bigger and better things, like turning up your pump and getting those injectors in, and of course, don't forget to remove your silencer ring (if so equiped)! Take care, B!

It's what a vendor does about the mistakes that makes them good or bad because every make mistakes.

PDR messed up an order for my son's truck a few months ago... . but all I did was call them and the situation was corrected instantly... the additional parts were sent out that day. No biggie, no hassle.

I have ordered a bunch of parts from PDR in the last month. There has been a few snafus with the mail, as I live in a small Montana town. I don't know what has happened but the gods have had a good laugh. My head should be in tomorrow, and now it is snowing like a banshie and the interstate might close... . I have not been in a hurry for the parts as I don't need the truck. But from Piers perspective, they wouldn't let the transport company leave my head in the alley that I live in. I knew that it would be Ok, but Piers didn't want any problems with stolen parts. It has just has taken a week and a half longer than it should have, to arrange the details. Oh well. I can laugh. Nothing has gone as planed this month... . My tax lady is a week behind, my injector pump is 2 weeks late..... and the above mentioned logistical snafus. It's time to drink a green beer.
