Dec 8 3500 pull against a 4000??

Well I guess the first thing to do is apologize for getting your hopes up.
The guy at the dyno shop (Strickly Performance) went nuts on me today when I called to confirm for Sat. 21st, he started hollering at me that he doesn't want to put anymore Dodge trucks on his dyno becuase he is afraid we will break it.
I don't know what to say to you guys, I'm extremely embarrassed over this #ad

I'm so dissapointed.

I hope yall still want to get together and have breakfast.

well breakfast sounds nice in all, but it looks like i'll be staying in huntsville this weekend. Myabe a few of us guys could chip in and buy one of those pocket dynos or something. Have a great meeting saturday.

Breakfast sounds good to me- I wasn't going to be able to stick around for the dyno runs 'cause I promised my son I'd take him fishing. Y'all pick a time & I'll see you there. Is Fuqua north or south of the beltway?

Does anyone out there have a contact @ Cummins Southern Plains? I bet we can't break THEIR dyno! Maybe we could set something up with them for a future Saturday and get the Dallas & Austin guys down here.

I'm allready looking for a more reliable dyno site.
I have heard thier are 3 or 4 in Houston, I will be check on it, maybe next month we can dyno day.
I want to try the next place multiple times before recommending, this is embarassing.
Where is everybody coming from?
Would there be a better site for breakfast?

I had a conversation with Flat Rate Performance in Pearland this morning. Donny there has a dyno and is going to get a Dodge dually extended cab from his buddy at the local Dodge dealer and test run it on his machine. He said he will probably need an adapter or such to get all the readouts he needs, but was confident he could get it done. I will keep ya'll informed. He charges $55 for two runs, and $10 arun after that. He did say he would work out a day rate once we had a headcount. Hope it works out.

Bill-

Taking the boy fishing is a great reason not to attend the dyno session. Of course, if you use the same excuse next month, the 24V crowd might think your a bit intimidated #ad

I would like to make 3 runs with just the 275RV's. 1800 and 2100 RPM and max HP. Then 3 runs with the VA also. I think this will give me the info I need to decide on my next "Accessory". Anyone have the new Edge EZ ? Would like to test it on my truck, I think the advanced timing is what I need.

BigJohn your a god send ya bailed me out, Thanks.
That would be great, it would be nice to spend our money where they would appreciate it.
Clutch is slipping bad, but I'd like to try anyway.
Please keep me informed.

TXRAM , I did a search on Yahoo for IHOP 11222 Fuqua St. ,Houston , TX 77089 . It is south of 610 ,almost to Beltway 8 , and west of I45.

Do ya'll have anything planned besides breakfast? My plans have changed at the last minute and now will be able to attend. I would like to make maybe a day of it or atleast a partial day. what exactly are the plans?

NMP, My plans only include breakfast for now. I am trying to set up a dyno at another place, but it will probably not be this weekend. I hope to know more today.

I WILL be installing my 4" exhaust Saturday and am always looking for help... ... ... ... just a thought!

OK fellas, looks like the dyno is out for this weekend.
I would like to get together this weekend anyway.
How does the IHOP on I-45 and Fuqua at 9:00am sound?

For those who don't know how to get to IHOP.
From downtown, Take I-45 south to the Fuqua/Beltway 8 exit. Follow the service road to the Fuqua turnoff. There's a Sam's Club, Joes Crab Shack and Golden Corral on the right. Watch yourself around that corner #ad

. Turn right at the light and the IHOP should be on the left.

Looking forward to meeting everyone there.
If the time doesn't fit your schedule just let me know.

BTW, If my directions are off let me know that too. #ad

Haven't been there in a couple of months.

That sounds good to me. I think that I should be able to find it. By the way... . how long of a drive should I be expecting from huntsville?? See ya'll saturday morning... if I don't get lost #ad

Hey guys. Let me know what your dynao plans are. I will be in Galveston for a car show from Nov. 2-5. If you guys secure a dyno for Sat. the 4th, I can cruise back up and meet with ya'll.

NEEDMOPOWER, I think it should take about 1 3/4 or 2hrs from Huntsville. I'll be leaving from Conroe, about 7:30. I think it is the first exit after the "ALMEDA MALL". About exit 33 or 34.

ok, it's settled. look for me between 8-9 at the IHOP. for ya'll who don't remember me from the rally, i'm the 18 year old punk driving the white and grey 91 4x4. see ya'll saturday.

I received a message from TXRam last week; I don't get voice mail on my cell phone very often and I'm not in the habit of checking. Anyway, there was a family crisis in Arkansas so he went back for a few days.
