Greg, it's nice to see real racers like yourself making things happen for the diesel community. Although I don't see myself becoming eligible for this, I have a couple of points:
We all know that Fletcher's truck is the quickest Ram-bodied diesel in the WORLD, at 10. 52 (? ). Now, he'd have to drop a 1/2 second to be in danger of being too quick, and keep weight above 4500lbs. Doesn't seem too risky.
As far as single turbo trucks, they haven't even gotten into the 11's have they? No drugs, of course. They seem to have consistency problems as well.
Now, even if a person started with a 1/2 ton chassis and put it on the Karen Carpenter diet, they'd still have to meet the weight requirement. Seems like a self-solving dilemna.
Can't guys go T&T their trucks before running in an event to be sure anyway?
It also seems that when it comes to racing, diesel guys either want to run their daily drivers, or they want the quickest diesel on the planet (sound familiar?

). Will this class be too middle of the road to draw serious numbers? Maybe it's just a matter of proper promotion...
Lastly, could you explain how it's bracket, except sometimes it's based on quickest ET? Be patient, I ride the small bus... :-laf
Thanks, and keep at it!
