Competition Welcome to the Jungle.....

After doing some research, I have some questions for the people that run the NHRDA. First off, IMO, anything that promotes the diesel world is good. This post is not to bash or degrade those of you that have the NHRDA.

That being said, I was searching around the NHRA web site but found nothing about the NHRDA. So I sent the NHRA an e-mail and in response, ( that was rather quick I might add ) they said they have no affiliation with the NHRDA.

Also, on the website for the NHRDA, they post no rules to follow either for sled pulling or drag racing. What rules does one follow in order to participate in your organization?

Not knowing what kind of response I would get from the people involved with the NHRDA, I figured it best to post in the Comp Banter forum. Moderator, if you feel this in in the wrong forum, please move it to the one you feel it best suits. Thanks

I just went to the NHRDA website and i found the sled pulling rules on the home page. I'm don't know any of the guys personally from NHRDA, just from on here or NWB's but they seem like they wouldn't be upset by your questions. You might get an interesting reply from Fletcher though. :D

That's interesting…I called California myself and found that the dhra didn't have any affiliation with the NHRA... . what's going on ?…. Ask your friend (Eric) since he put you up to this disruption…

The NHRA didn't even know who he was let alone the club.

If McBride is so much into promoting the sport, why does he spend so much time putting his puppets(you) up to trying to derail the progression of the NHRDA?

Is it because of the NHRDA's fast growth? Rapid organization abilities developing a race series? If that's it, keep in mind they have a seasoned experienced race promoter(Randy's off road connection) Is it because of the membership inquiries from the other states in his neck of the woods?

BTW; for membership chapter inquiries, please call Randy's @(360) 659-5259 This is weird, haven't you noticed how fast Eric's organizing races since the NW guys started this new venture ????? I guess we should thank those guys for getting Eric off his arrogant ***…

Sorry tall1, you must need to take reading again. I was under the impression that the NHRDA was associated ( according to some of the ones that post here ) with the NHRA. They obviously are not.

To my knowledge, the DHRA never said or implied that they were part of, or sanctioned by the NHRA. I was looking for the rules both for drag racing and sled pulling for what you have on the west coast. I still have yet to find them on the home page of the NHRDA. Guess you wasted a phone call.

As far as me being a puppet, sorry, I only speak for myself and my opinions are only mine. If you dont like them, dont read any further. Also if you re-read the initial post, this post was not to bash or degrade those of you that have the organization, but to in fact possibly join the NHRDA as well. You see I have that option to do as I feel necessary. I just was trying to get my facts straight and to get a feel for what kind of organization I would be joining.

Now if you would send or post a link to your rules as I so far have been unable to find out the info I am looking for.

I don't sled pull, but on the nhrda home page, here is a link to a pdf with the rules: NHRDA pulling rules

I do drag race, and the rules for that are the same as the ones in NHRA. No special ones for diesels. You are required to run the equipment that NHRA mandates for the E. T. that you run.

I hope this helps...

Your so full of ****, Mcfly uses every buzz words/ insinuative verbiage to paint the perception that the dreh is a big part of the NHRA, as if he has some clout LOL ! It looks like we beat him to it, yeehaw…. Hop back into bed, he's getting cold… :-laf :-laf

Naw, dont want "Big Brother" to know what I'm up to.

I had to gave it up when the Brady bill (sept 13th) came into affect (renewal fees to high and forced business disclosers for collectors) I still have my accurize CHOW acps . . what a fine pistol for the stand up match shooter. This "busting chops" stuff is subdued in comparison to IPSC competition :-laf

I dunno bout that, we ( TDR members) seem to do a pretty good job of shooting our mouth off from time to time... . :-laf :-laf
