Nissan Titan with Cummins just arrived at dealership

I was driving to work this am and saw a new Titan on the lot so I swung in. The truck looked much better in person and was quieter idling than my Jeep CRD. This particular truck isn't for sale, it's a demonstrator. The Nissan guys that were there said the new trucks are shipping to dealers right now. I'm going to try and swing by and see when I can take it for a drive.

Has anybody driven one yet? Also, since it has a Cummins, will there be a section here at the TDR?

I hope so. My take over the years on this forum is that the majority of the people here are slightly more Cummins loyal than Dodge/Ram loyal. If we can have a forum for a Ram with an Italian Diesel it seems like the Cummins/Nissan combo should also be invited.

I saw one at the Auto Show here. Pretty darn stout truck. They had it locked up unfortunately. I hope it works for them and the owners.

The salesman that sold me my Mercedes also sells out of the dealerships Nissan store. I talked to him a few min ago and he claims that they have at least one inbound that should be on the ground by mid January. I'm anxious to drive one also.

Last year when they were up the weather was warm.....it finally turned cold for the last couple of weeks of testing. The truck did well according to the test drivers.

I just need to get over that Nissan got the baby Cummins. I'm a Dodge/Ram fan fanboy, so I guess i'm a lil butthurt.

I'm a little upset at the situation also......but not at Nissan. I'm angry at FCA. They should have never parted ways with Cummins on the small truck. The big Cummins will be next if those damn Italians have their way.

Yep, FCA passed and Nissan snatched it up and I can't blame em. I still think the Nummins will suffer the same thing the Eco Diesel does,....pricing. I could never justify paying the same amount for a little bitty twuck, when I could have a big boy twuck for a few bucks more.
