Any TDR members with this pickup or any news in general about it? Seems to have dropped off the radar. I wonder why Cummins seems to have lost their steam on small engines? They have them but they don't seem to be selling. All the major manufactures are using their own diesels. GM with the little I-4 Duramax, Ford with the I-5 Powerstroke and FCA with the 3.0 V-6.

As with most things-it's all about the money

I have seen exactly one of these here in town. I would say they are not exactly setting the world on fire.

I went to the Nissan Forum site and found this. One guy will say he tows 20k GCW and the next guys says that is too much, kinda like here:D

Truck price to high and gas too cheap, and the newer gas V8's more fuel efficient. But with the HP/TQ with the heavier rear axle, it can pull more than rated. The key to pulling higher than it's rating, is the Aisin trans coupled behind it. It just so happens I'm next door to a Nissan dealer, I'll stop in to check the discount.

20,000 GCW sounds about right. If I remember correctly, I think my 2500 Ram is listed at 24,000 GCW. Closest I've come to 24k is just under 22,000.

Only one 2016 platinum CTD left at 53K but 7k rebate advertise, was told as much as 10K. However, they had 5 various 2017 gasser 2X2 for 53K. My choice in getting my 2016 Tacoma 4X4 Off-road for 35K, seems better and better every time I look at the 2017 truck prices.

I have a 2016 Titan XD SV 4x2 5.0l Cummins and paid under 34k for it. I'm towing a 7800lb travel trailer with 950lbs of tongue weight and it does a great job. Mileage is 21mpg highway mostly flat and 17.5 average over the last 1000 miles. Towing mileage is in the 9-12 mpg rage depending on terrain. Overall I really like the truck, it's performed very well so far and no major issues to report. My previous truck was a 06 Silverado 8.1l 6 spd Allison with 4.10 and the Titan XD easily exceeds its capabilities. Some owners do have the dead pedal issue same as the RAM with the Aisin but my truck doesn't seem too bad. FYI the Aisin in the Is a bit different than the one in the RAM closer to the AS68 with a different valve body and torque converter.
