So far I love these tires to me they ride aswell as the michelens and are quiet. I haven't knowticed them picking up rocks at all and thier wet weather is about the same as the michelens. I have i think 24k on them now and they are wearing pretty good. and I love the extra payload they give over the stock tires.

those tires will only last you about 13,000 miles i had a pair they look and handle fine but they wear quick

how in the world do you only get 13k out of them. You must be burning out everytime you leave a stop light or something. I drive mine like a sports car but i try to leave soft because 200 bucks a pop is to much just to burn off but i have had many time where I have left many miles of tire on the ground when playing around.

Your mileage may vary.

There's always a huge disparity in tire longevity on this forum. Universally Michelin seems to rule, with BFG's coming up favorably too. Aggressive soft tires logically seem to melt. I would think the D. G. 's would deliver 40-50,000 safe miles with rotation and decent treatment. Wish they'd pump out a 275-85-17 though. :)

I have about 2,000 miles on mine now, and they are great. The best way to describe them as compared to the stock tires is that it feels like driving on glass - they really absorb shock. I also went up to a 285 from the stock 265, which gave me about 300 pounds more load carrying capacity form the stock tire. I can use it because I tow a big fifth.

They ARE mud and snow rated, and they perform well in the snow - don't really know about mud. They also seem to handle the California desert "sand/dirt" pretty well. I really like them and would recommend them...
