I have a 2012 ram 2500 6.7
I had a check engine light on for particulate filter blocked and had no exhaust break. Did the delete kit completely and check engine light went away but still no exhaust break. Ant help would be greatly appreciated

@Jeff bell, Deleted trucks are causing issues with forums and violate the EPA Clean Air Act. That's a Federal Regulation not a state thing. You're could draw the attention that this forum doesn't need! Shops, dealers and owners are being fined! If TDR is presented a formal legal request, they would be required to identify you to whoever presented the legal process to them. Please take this elsewhere.

I would not put TDR at risk myself. Trucks today need to stay stock . They have plenty of power. Buy a older truck if you don’t like the emission systems etc.

After giving it some thought we -John-I or TDR did not help him delete the truck. But I think it was very nice that John or others might help him figure out his problem. We have all had issues that we needed help with. I stand corrected

Jeff, you might need a code reader to figure out what is wrong with the exhaust brake on your truck. Usually but not always a DCT code will be stored in the ECM on your truck that may tell you what the issues is.

If the Actuator is falling or has failed, you may need to install a new turbo actuator as John in his post above has stated.

Geno's Garage sells a new turbo actuator from City Diesel that is a cost-effective way of repairing the turbo. Without replacing the entire turbo charger as a dealer would do.

I figured out that my sensor was week and at higher speed I could hear and feel it a little replaced the sensor and cleaned out the tube and it works great. Didn't mean to bring attention to the other part and just so all knows no one helped me or gave me recommendations other than it could be the turbo actuator, thanks to all for the help
