Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) no head lights

my head lights work, but only when the steering wheel is in the all the way up postition. if it comes down just one click, they cut off. any ideas? and or instructions would be nice. apic is worth a thousand words.

Might be the wiring going to multi switch, might be broken. or loose connection. Its under the removable cover for the steering column. To remove the switch you'll need some security torc bits, they have a hole in the middle to accept the pin. you'll see what I mean when you get there.

thankyou, i wll go get those and try. at 290000 abused miles i will expect anything.

My bet is a broken or worn insulation wire at the pivot point of the wheel.
