My problem sounds similar to others I have read but I'm gonna through it out there.

I have a 2001 2500 4wdr with an automatic, 83,000 miles. Sometimes when I start it up (Sometimes) and try to drive away I have no throttle at all.

The truck will move, but barley. I can usualy shut it off and restart and the problem is gone, for a while. I also recently started to tow a 28' fifth wheel toy hauler, Weekend Warrior Super lite 28, wieghs around 5,000 dry.

I cant tow this thing on flat highway over 60mph with my foot on the floor!

Forget it on a hill!

I have 3. 55's in it but it should be better this this?

I have replaced the lift pump, changed all the filters.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I just replace my APPS. Was having the same problems you are having. Since I replaced the APPS I have had no problem. Got one from Cummins. For 350. 00

I had one and it was the Vp44 if it white smokes on throttle up... About 1400 rpm feeles like it has a slight miss in it,I could shut it off and it would run ok after 2nd start up,then it got worse and would take maybe3-4 shut downs,be going down the highway about 50 mph, mash on the go peddle and no speed increase... ...

It's like your driving my truck!

Just got back from the dealer, ther telling me it's not under warranty.

Dosnt Dodge cover the pump to 100,000 miles?

Yes, the lift pump and injection pump are both covered under the 100K mile engine warranty.
