I was moving at about 30 mph, started up a hill and when I stepped on the fuel pedal, I had no throttlen responce!! The engine was just in idle position, and my check engine light was on! I was on a hill so I let the truck back down to the bottom of hill, stepped on the throttle and was working just like there was nothing wrong, however, the check engine light was still on. I drove home, about 5 miles and had throttle responce that seemed normal, accererating and de-celerating. When I stopped the engine, the check engine light was still on (untill I turned the key off).

Anyone had the same situation, and what is happening?

You do not say what kind of truck you have but if you have a truck with a VP-44 you may be looking at a new pump. Go to bluechipdiesel.com & look under VP-44 Diagnostic Help. By reading his info sounds like the computer on top of the pump may be going south.

sounds like your apps is either bad or you need to adjust it. i had the same problem where the pedal wouldn't do anything and then if you stepped on it a few times it would finally start to work again. after adjusting the apps i havent had a dead pedal since

That's what mine did and it gradually happened more often. Changed APPS and no more problem. There where codes to as evidenced by you check engine lite but sorry don't remember what they were now.

No Throttle

Got a new TPPS yesterday - The fault code (?) that came up indicated that was the failure so I'm going with that.
