BBuchanan;

I live in Trinity, which is 5 minutes away from High Point. Im in the High Point area often on weekends. In raleigh during the week going to NC State. Im in a silver 98 ext cab shortbed with a single stack. Quite a few friends drive CTD's. What are you drivin? Ill keep my eyes open for ya.

tmckenzie, you're going through my neck of the woods in the Alamance County area. I'm in a '95 white 3500 with dual antennas on my mirrors and rear glass had a lot of decals. Big NASCAR one at the bottom. I won't be on the road for a little while with it. My transmission slippin' real bad in third. 35 MHP max speed. :(

Hey guys,

I'm stationed down in Charleston SC, but my family all lives up in Fort Mill/Rock Hill south of Charlotte. I'd love to get together with some other Cummins guys and talk diesels. I'm also hunting for some interior parts to rebuild my scorched donor rig if anyone has any leads.

Oh yea, and if you're looking for cheap fuel and aren't afraid to drive a little for it, the Cone truck stop at exit 77 in SC was $1. 29 per gal this past weekend when I filled up the X... . (yes, I have a PS-X... I need a family bus... ) They also give a $. 03 discount per gal for cash. Very high turnover also, been filling up there for almost a year now and haven't had a problem.

I live just north of Columbia, SC in Blythewood just of I-77. I think there are a number of TDR members within a short drive. We should try and plan something in Nov. It'll be cool and the leaves will be changing.

Working on Hatteras island again. Saw a maroon SRW, long bed, ext cab with a TDR grille badge and hitch plug. It was headed south through the flood waters.

Hey red, I was in KDH and Kitty Hawk from Fri-Mon, I was looking but never saw you. We'll be out again this next weekend too.

How did you fare through the storm?

Well, The cottage in front of us was destroyed, so we effectively have oceanfront property now. Well, I guess my dad, who we rent from, has ocean front property. Our driveway had about 3ft of sand deposited on it, which has since been piled in the yard and is being used to fill the back lot for future development. The downstairs of our cottage is a garage, and the upstairs is living space. None of the living space was touched, but the waves crashed in the garage doors and blew a hole out the back of the garage. There were oil containers, bottles, and general contents of my garage scattered over about 2 acres. There's enough lumber in the back yard from other structures to stretch from here to sacramento. I didn't lose anything important because I basically moved out of the house the day before the storm, and took all my power tools and things I couldn't stand to lose. Considering the other cottages in the area, I was lucky.

I worked this past weekend, and we still weren't allowed back in the neighborhood freely, so my truck was at my parent's house in Southern Shores.

If you want to ride by the cottage (curfew is over now) this weekend, we might be there working on it. We're the powder blue :rolleyes: house north of Ocean Boulevard Restaurant. My truck is a white SB, QC, 4x4. I'm you're average mid-20something white guy. Someone else may be driving the truck so I might not be there.

Wow, I didn't realize how close you live to my house. We are at MP3 on the bypass. 5th house south of Wilkins on the sound side of the bypass.

Glad to hear you made it ok! especially being right in the middle of it all:--)

They have done an amazing job cleaning up.

If you hear of anyone looking to rent a house, my tenants took off :confused: It's a 4 bed 2 bath. It will be getting new carpet and paint and a few new windows and sliding glass door thanks to Izzy.

I haven't heard from the adjuster yet, so I'm not sure we'll be coming out this weekend:-{}

A friend of mine works at 4 Wheel Parts in Charlotte and said that a Cummins with a TDR sticker came in the other day (I think about a week and a half ago)... anyone on here?

CumminsDZL, That was me. Thanks for the comment. It's an aeroturbine muff, and I have been pretty pleased w/ it. Fuel mileage jumped up, 1-2mpg, and It's not obnoxious in the cab, though pretty loud outside. I don't even know why I keep the radio in anymore. I live over near Bunn. Sorry it took so long to post, I don't get on the site so often now that Hunting Season is in. -Ghinton

tmckenzie

Stepped out for a while, just getting back in. I drive a 2001 White

1-Ton dually, wearing Buck's Communications logos on all four sides, orange cone in bed.

over the past months. Just lately gotten on the web,but have been getting the magazine since '97 when I had a black LB.

Now have '03 silver LB 4x4 6 speed/ GV overdrive 4dr w/tracrac and crome DMI ag hitch. I live east out of WF. See me give a wave,[not the other].

I live in Tryon, which is near Hendersonville, and am still waiting for my new toy, but was wandering if there is anything going on in the next few months such as shows, pulls, dinos, etc. ? Thanks in advanced!

Hey robobx, mstiimac, reduaram,

just found this site. I know my sig says that I live in E. City, but I actually live in Poplar Branch. My property joins the Currituck sound. I use to have a Black '00 Dodge DRW. Sold it to a guy down the road from me when I got my '03. So it is still around. I sometimes buy horse feed at the Ace Hardware in Kitty Hawk. Hey maybe we can get togather sometime and talk trucks. Maybe even talk junk about the Ferds and Chebbies. I'll be home this coming weekend and i plan on taking the wife out to the Mexican food place in Kitty Hawk Sat evening.

North Carolina....I think...

Spotted an old gray ram 12 valve with a camper in its bed (maybe 88 or 90)! Waved hello but don't think you saw me! Had the turbodieselregister.com letters on driver-side window!

This was somewhere on my trip down to Atlanta from NJ today... . don't remember where exactly!

If you read this - HELLO!

;)

(here's a pic of my truck)

I am not sure if it was a TDR member or not. I thought I saw the badge on the back windshield. It was a White 2nd Gen, looked like it had the sport package on it and smoke on both fenders. Sounded good!! Saw him in Cresson, TX on Hwy 377. I dought he saw me I was headed the other way. I am always on the lookout for TDR members. Every dodge I see I look to see if it is a Diesel and then the TDR badge.
