LSTDR January meeting.

Jan 26th sounds good to me.

After missing the last few meets I am looking forward to getting together.

I would definately be intersested in hearing about how the chapter is doing.

Happy New Year!

Away

Batman,

Will be away on a cruise,:D

Won't be back till the 28th:(

Please keep me in mind, am willing to do or help out in any way possible.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

Team together boys! This is a joint effort. You'll do well if you just start getting together on this.

Start doing monthly breakfast/lunch meetings. Hold them in different areas, so those who can't travel a lot will have a chance to get involved.

And Chatroom - Chatroom - Chatroom

-

-

Did I mention Chatroom?

-

-

-

-

I didn't forget to tell you to use the Chatroom, did I? hehehe

Doc

Hey Doc... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... so... ..... um... ... ... ..... what do YOU think might help??? I've been hearing that maybe the chapter should be discussed through a chatroom:D what are your thoughts on this:confused:  :D

Torque this - Sorry to hear that is not a good date for you. Remember, if it is not a good date for too many, we will need to switch the date. But I know that the rest of Feb. is out for a couple other members.

Come on guys, keep respending and notify others that have not repsonded yet if you can. Try to get the word out there. TIA

Hope everyone had a Happy New Year.

Batman, I'll be there. Not sure If I'm gonna dyno again though. Breakfast in the morning?

JES, is your ride gonna make it this time, or will you have a bag on your head again? Hopefully the PS pump will make it. Dealers, don't ya love 'em

Jeff

Batman: As a matter of fact I am going to school and I am currently very close to receiving a Bachelor's degree in Communications with video production being my concentration. May 2003 will probably bring a Master's degree in the same concentration.

Many thanks to all those who think I have a way with words..... my girlfriend will probably tend to agree/disagree ('Hollywood Squares' style... . ) based on the circumstances of the occasion. ;)

I'm here to help, attend, drink beer, eat off the floor, and of course stand by the tailpipe(s) in search of the perfect plume of diesel soot.

Matt

graduation for Holeshot...& stuff (long)

... . Hmmmm, we should start a thread to figure out how you tune exhaust pipes, not for performance, but for the actual musical notes. Can you see a whole line of Cummins revving out, "Da Dumpta Di Dum Dum... " (if that didn't survive translation, think of Pomp & Circumstance) Holeshot would be so proud... probably shed a tear or two because of all the soot... .

This is good. I'm IN! Centrally located is good. Moving the meets around is good; gives some of us a chance to make a meet that isn't so far away, gives some of us the chance to drive and caravan for meets that are clear over on the other side of New England. Folks from Montana, feel free to fall down laughing.

Other ideas I have heard, in no special order:

- include folks that drive diesels from the 'Other' brand. This has worked well so far at more than one event, the last being the dyno. My sense is it tends to turn down the brand loyalty rhetoric and extends the definition of who is in the 'Brotherhood'. I like the idea of our chapter being inclusive rather than exclusive. Heck we let VeeTen hang out with us, and it isn't just for his deep fryer either, though we may need to put a special clause in the bylaws just for him :p

- the wrench day we've had so far seems to take the prize for most fun we've had with our clothes on. We should do more of these and in different locales. People may disagree and that's okay, this is based on my own informal survey. An excuse to get together, do something, and have fun seems to work best.

- we would like to have wives, girlfriends, er, Significant Others feel included somehow, but we,

er, aren't sure how.

- we'd like to keep the chapter simple. Just enough structure to make it easy to enjoy each other's company. But we do need something of a charter so that everyone knows what the 'rules' are.

There it is for anyone to agree or disagree. As I say, these are ideas that I have heard and aren't neccessarily my own opinions--I'm not especially attached to anything so I can't be flamed.

BTW, I'm collecting email addresses and vital stats on people that are interested in being part of the North East . . or is it New England TDR ... or is it TDP? PM me if I don't have your address already and you are interested.

Thanks!

. . the other Matt

Vital stats?

Okay, so you mean systolic/diastolic blood pressures, height/weight/girth, # of fingers/toes born with and presently remaining, HDL/LDL cholesterol figures, urine analysis (for those pesky THC readings... ... ) and of course BAC as well... . gotta figure out if we need to buy stronger beer or just hit the hard stuff earlier in the day. :p

Matt

Uhhhhhhhhh, Matt... . (Holeshot)... ..... put the beer down and slowly step away. Man, your getting too intelectual:D

I think the only personal information required is... ... ..... is there a history of inbreeding in your family????????????? :D

vital stats

Nah, that diabolic/systematic blood pleasure thing is for doctahs and EMPTIES's. You get your blood pleasure too high, they take you to the Urgency room in an Ambivilance. The most important vital stat would be the VIN so we can document things

Seriously, name, handle, and email address for starters, so we can invite you to upcoming events primarily. Then, depending on how comfortable you feel with about it, things like your mailing address, your phone number, and eventually the sig for your rig?

Matt to Matt & dat's dat

Hey There

Happy New Year to all. Man this foreign language you guys are learning is a little to much for me. Anyway I hope I can make it but still checking with some family you know what.

Hopefully we can get the ball rolling and get something

accomplished. Will post back as soon as I know if I can make it,

Fred

Matt, I think you have all of my important vitals.....

Let me know what else you'd like to know... .

Matt - the one who eats off floors and breathes soot with a smile.

I too am interested in joining. I know, California is a long way to make meetings:rolleyes: But if you keep an eye on my handle and Avatar, you will see a change in about 6 weeks. It may say something like. . . Acton, Maine:D

Newf,

I believe you will be about 3 or 4 hours from where we have met several times... ... Norfolk, MA (Massdiesel's shop).

Safe trip!
