(Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter of the TDR Springtime Meet n’ Greet.

:-laf Only a diesel junkie would appreciate that !

Ya, I blew it away. But I didn't break anything. Peter has said before to other people to lay off of it awhile. Drive it around town normally for awhile. The clutch will resurface the flywheel and the contact will improve once again.

Since the lining is Feramic, this will work. A regular clutch, no.

I have to turn down the fueling box though. I don't plan on a DD for quite awhile.

How was your trip?

RHW, that dyno day sounds good. That's only an hour and change for me.

When is it?

Judging by today's experience I know what the engine puts out but it'd be nice to see it on paper.

------------

ATVX4, I knew you would jump at that deal. :D I owe you a ride.

------------

BTW, Red Hot Welding wrote that his truck weighs 14,000 lbs ! :--)

Would ya let a "New Yawka" attend one of these? It looked like fun and I have family in the Pocono area, maybe next time around I can make a trip out that way. Heck I traveled to PA to get my truck (originally sold out of E-Town Dodge in Elizabethtown PA) , it would be nice to bring it "home" for a visit.

CLiberty, absolutely ! Welcome aboard. :)

It doesn't matter where you live.

There were a few from NY that were supposed to be at the Meet but they didn't quite make it.

BTW I used to spend some time in Plainview.

Yeah, I'm one of the NYers who didn't show up. Sorry but had to watch playoff games with my sons, that was the deal for not taking them to the Giant game on Sunday. I went past there today, I picked up a snowblower attachment for my tractor down by Lebanon. So I know exactly where it is for the next one. 83 miles to exit 178b. Hope to see you at the next one.

really want to hear that detroit, wouldn't happen to have a roadranger would it?

b. ferrara I was there. It was sweet... ... ... 5 speed Clark/ overdrive i do believe. been running going on 18 yrs. if my memory serves me well

I'll be talking to him sometime this weekend and will post specifics. I know it's a Detroit 453 with a Jake on 2 cylinders. I think the transmission was a clark but will check. BTW, I'm still coughing up black soot from following him there and back... :-laf

HighFinance97

couldn't bring his truck to the Meet due to transmission trouble.

I don't want him to feel left out, so here's a pic of his highly modified rig. :-laf

Mike when did you you get a Yota??? I hope this isn't your new daily driver since 35" Boggers on what appears to be IFS is going to be more trouble than the Cummins!!!

No problem.

------

My truck is acting up so I haven't been driving it much. I have an APPS on the way. And air has been getting in the lines. I have fittings on the way. yadda, yadda. .

It's been quiet on the homefront. Not a whole lot to do in the wintertime.

But I see a possible dinner night in the future. Down in the SEPA area.

------

One of the guys that was at the Meet and is interested in joining the TDR has a touch of the Bombing Bug. He's ordering injectors soon. I'm going to drop them in for him.

(I think the joyride that I took him on in my truck pushed him in the right direction :-laf )
