(Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter of the TDR Springtime Meet n’ Greet.

Thanks for checking in ATVX4...

I know the thread has been a little on the quiet side, but off of the board there's been activity. Phone calls, pm's, and e-mails with current members and new people interested in the club. Also, meetings with the V. P. :)

I'm interested in going to IRP but I might have to make it a short trip. Hopefully I will be in technical school this Spring/Summer.

I've been battling gremlins with my rig, so I've done a little head scratching and hair pulling lately.

I'd like to have a get-together before the Spring Fling rolls around. Exactly what kind, I don't know yet.

-------------------------------

That Jeep is actually a right hand drive from overseas. The diesel came stock. I've driven it. It is definitely a different experience turning the key on a Jeep and hearing that familiar diesel knock ! Not to mention driving from the "wrong" side. :p

Matt, I took a spin in that green truck that belongs to Torque_This when I was at the Christmas Cheer party. I heard that you had a ride in it too ??

Oh, OK - that makes sense. The overseas markets get all the cool stuff...

Are you talkin' 'bout the go-kart type truck? Oh yeah, there are pictures of me somewhere piloting that beast and trying not to spill my beer... :-laf

Matt

A guy I know just bought an 06 Dually. We can call him "Brian". Well, he did the usual straight pipe, airbox mod, gauges, and a CRAZY LARRY downloader. Now I've been in and had fast cars. I used to race a 10-sec. street legal mustang a few years ago, so I'm no stranger to power. But I have to tell you, this truck rips! I am not sure about how fast it would be, but lets just say it has NOOOO problem lighting the tires up at just about any speed. Maybe I should say, violently lighting the tires up. There is also tale of this truck dragging a Duromax around in circles. I had no idea that program would be so powerful. Makes my triple dog look like a sick pup! :-laf

Nick are you telling brians secrets ill tell on you if you keep it up :) lol

I know brian ive been friends with him for a couple years now and you should have seen his 7. 3 he use to have pretty cool (for a ford) that truck ran.

But this new dodge :--). He towed me home when my transmission went a couple months ago ill tell you what ITS RUNS!!!

Michael

P. S. watch out for him this summer at the pulls

Mike, a convoy to IRP sounds good. I just don't know if that undervalved truck of yours can keep up with our trucks.

----------------------

That's the one Matt. The meanie greenie mini monster. Tool Man Tim Taylor has a pic or two.

I plan on being up there for the Seefood Challenge. That's right up my alley. :D

----------------------

That 06 that you mentioned should be in the mid to high 400 hp range . ?

Sounds like it's a fun ride !

You have no idea! I drove it, and seen it run, It rips!

Mike, I have known Brian for years. I have ridden in his old ford. This one will kick it's a**. From what he tells me, He is not close to done yet! This will be the real test for the 48RE! Can you say Suncoast?

indy

We have six trucks going to IRP from the meadville area, going to meet up with some guys in Ohio. We are leaving Thursday if you guys wana meet up.

Bri ... . if they voted no but they didn't give a reason, then it doesn't count. They're just a troll trying to stir the pot. Forget 'em.

---------------------------

Thanks for the offer Redram 1. I think that meeting up would be a great idea. The bigger the convoy the better ! I just don't know yet how much time I'll be able to take off of school. We'll see.

----------------------------

Mike, I have some JB Weld and some extra Briggs and Stratton valves in the workshop. Maybe we can fix your truck. :-laf

I've been to 3(?) of those events - what a good time with some great people. Man - sometimes I wish I lived in MA again... the rest of the time (99. 95%)... I absolutely love where I'm at now.

Matt

He is alive!!! I hope you are jokin since with a programmer the 06 Cummins should destroy the old Ford . But in the last year or so some of the Powerstroke guys have figured out the HPOP and are putting down some nice Power. Look at Dockboy I've seen him in action at the FB and that truck is one hell of a Ford. Granted he spent waaayyyyy more $$$ than if it were a Cummins but it's not another Cummins with big injectors and turbo laying down Dyno ##'s . Any way Brian 2 way me one of these days since the weather is going to get nice i want to go for a ride in the new truck and make have a bad case of Cumminitis.

Oh and one more thing, Id like to add that i am now also part of the First Gen. family as of yesterday. I am The proud owner of a 1993 W250 ext. cab,automatic,35"s Detroit lockers front and rear 160,000 miles,Electric blue with silver on the bottom (little rust)

:):) Michael

P. S. tony thanks for the co-piloting

Take engine out of 97 and seat too ( All that i like of 2nd gen) put in 93 push 97 off high cliff to end the curse!!! A daily driver with Detroits f+r is going to be fun next winter... . Well good luck with a REAL Dodge truck hopefully you don't get too crazy with the mods on this one and keep it a DD. .
