I've been planning to sell my '94 Lance next spring and probably get a Northern Lite 9'6" camper. The lightest one without the basement. They list the dry weight as about 1725 pounds which is quite a bit lighter than my Lance. If anyone has a Northern Lite I would like your opinion as to quality and durability. I also looked at the Bigfoots. The same size Bigfoot is quite a bit heavier and on my truck, less weight is really a plus. It's hard to find a decent camper that doesn't take the gross weight way over the limit. The Northern Lite looks like one of the better ones as far as weight is concerned.

Elkhorn also make a light slide-inThe "9 D" extended cab weight is 1,825 and the standard cab is 1,750, I looked at one last week and thought that it was well built, it has welded extruded aluminum frame work, polystrene block foam insulation, exterior fiberglass siding a lot of nice stuff come standard. The one that I was looking at has a retail price of $12,278 but the sales man I talked to said that he always sells below retail, just a thought.
