I am completely comfortable with airliners, and would be flying for a living if it weren't for being out of town so much. I love to fly in the cockpit with the pilots. You get to see/hear everything happening.

If you have time to spare, go by air!!
A few years ago, my brother left Medford, Or. (near the Calif. border) on a commercial flight to Portland, Or. for an important business meeting. Portland was fogged in so the flight was diverted to Pasco-Richland area (southeastern Washington), before they could land at Pasco, it was socked in, so they were diverted to Spokane. They landed there and after some delay, Portland was open so away they went. Before they got to Portland it was again close and they were diverted north and ended up landing somewhere in the Seatle area. They were there for sometime, but again left for Portland. Before they could land, it was again closed so they were diverted to Eugene, Or, but before they could land there they were diverted to Medford, where he had started out almost 24 hours earlier.
He gave up and went home.
