As stated above, I recently upgraded my flux 2 injectors to custom 3. 5 and also had my stg 1 cp3 upgraded to a stage 3. I love the way my truck drives when I 'm only running my injectors and ez, but as soon as I throw my smarty (above 3) or my tst (above 3x3) my truck fuels way to much and I get that throttle hangup where there is so much fuel being dumped, after I let off the throttle my truck continues to keep plowing forward. The only way I can fix that is to put the truck into neutral for a few seconds then put it back into drive and all is fine, until the next time.

I never had this problem before I changed these two things. Now my goal was to eventually turn this truck into my drag truck only, which is why I did these upgrades. Now I'm not sure I made the right decision. Can't afford another truck right now, so I still have to use this truck as my daily driver and work truck. Has anyone else experienced these hangups, or would this problem I'm having be solved with a set of twin turbos? Just looking to see if anyone else has ran into the same problem I'm having, or get some suggestions. I love my truck, just isn't as fun to drive now.

Sounds like your rail can't relieve the extra pressure fast enough when demand is removed, like running a pressure box. This would result in your truck plowing forward after you take your foot off the throttle. Same thing happened to a friend's truck after he put a pressure box on it. Drove me crazy when I drove his truck.

my dad has just an edge ez and his does the same thing it scared me at first i was in a parking lot and it didnt want to slow down. i dont know what it is. my truck never does it and i have a dr performance pressure box.

Well I think you definitely need more air with the injectors and CP3 you have. Twins should allow you to tune in better optimum fueling without the surging.

It could be a lot of things. Mine never did it til I got the Smarty and started messing with the torque management. I think that maybe the converter isn't unlocking like it should due to programming. Just a thought.

Besides that how is the power? I'm looking at building a drag truck and running Flux 4s and dual CP3s.

Not sure more will fix the smoke, my twins didn't. My flux2s smoke like a mother even at idle. I have contemplated getting smalled tips, but then I stand on it and grin. BTW, I am still on stock fuel.

It's the version of the smarty you are running.

The TNT's are the worst... Also some of the older "Beta" programs do it as well.

Try running the standard REVO. I bet it will drive much better.

I can't daily drive mine on anything over level 3 on the TNT programs for the same reason.
