Yes, it will be at RiverCity Raceway in San Antonio. It is only an eighth mile track though.

I don't want to start this kind of thread but if you want 1/4 mile come to Ennis (Texas Motorplex) wouldn't hurt my feelings any not so far to drive

River City Raceway is a 1/4 mile track, they just hold 1/8 miles races there too.



From what I've heard from others, it is a really nice track. We were planning on racing there last weekend but the weather cancelled that too.

I would have to second you on the how nice the track is. The head of maintenance here where I live races there a couple of times a month. He has told me the same thing. Is the date still the 16th of Nov?

Do you know if or when they're having the next open track Friday? Don't have a whole lot of HP to bring but I'd go just to see what The Curse and I can get time wise.

Now that is a screwed up website. NO WHERE does it say 1/4, it only says 1/8, but if you go HERE to the IHRA "member tracks" then it IS listed as 1/4.



Ok, so 1/4 mile racing in the City on the River!!!! My girlfriend was SO happy to learn it was in San Antonino, as she has never seen the city really. Looks like Friday night will have to be sight seeing, "Alamo, HERE WE COME!!!!"

Ran out and asked the maintenance guy, this is what he said.



It is an IHRA Official track, 1/8 mile concrete, then goes to asphalt for 1/4 mile. They have the ability to run both.

I will be there in the afternoon, she probly wont get ther till around 5 or so. I think some of the Ford guys are staying in a Days Inn. Let me go get some info for it.

Truck Is Apart

I want to make the race if a few things come together. I'm rewiring the truck right now. And we are doing some transmission work too. If the weather cooperates and we get our mechanical/electrical projects completed I should be there. Look forward to it if we don't have any surprises.
