where can i get one of those stickers? how about one in a 5" yellow diamond. stick that right above the exhaust pipe for other motorists to look at as the exhaust pipe is right next to their open window... :D:D:D

Just to demonstrate how weak the "diesel exhaust causes cancer" argument is:

…the Health Effects Institute (“HEI”) has determined that a major study... actually shows a decreasing risk of cancer with increasing exposure to diesel exhaust.

This is not to say that diesel emission shouldn't be reduced as much as practicable, but classifying diesel exhaust as a known carcinogen is a leap of faith in my opinion.

scientists

Personally I think scientists and other morons cause more cancer than our beloved diesels - hmmm lets do away with scientists and other so called experts ! just a thought !

:D

I wonder if smelling your own farts too much could cause cancer?

I guess we should plug ourselves up.

You know, you suck enough of anything foreign into your body, or put something foreign into your body and leave it there too long your body is eventually going to get pi$$ed off and try to get rid of it, or mutate and turn into cancer. It's common sense, not rocket science.

Too much sun on your skin causes cancer

Too much radiation on your body causes cancer

Too much cigarette smoke or other gunk like coal dust in your lungs causes cancer

Too much alcohol and too much hepatitis C together cause liver cancer

Too much asbestos in your lungs causes cancer

Too much riceburner exhaust in your lungs causes cancer

Too much diesel exhaust or unburned diesel fumes in your lungs causes cancer

Too much fart gas might cause cancer, but I don't know if that clinical study has been done. - Merrick, would you be volunteering for that one?

Like you have all said, the news report is another attempt at the controllist freak party to butt into and control more of our daily lives. Too much is too much, and the amount that diesel fumes contribute to the 'too much' is not that much compared with gasoline exhaust gases.

I'm a doctor, I drive a diesel, I take an aspirin a day, I take a statin (zocor) even though I don't really need it, I don't sleep enough, I work too hard, but these are all my own decisions. Now I am done ranting.

I would like to cordially decline the position as "Fart Smeller Volunteer". I am currently satisfied with my current position as "but Kisser".

Thank you for the offer, it was kind, but I decline.

Sincerly,
