Hey, the other day I was cruisin' around that Auction Website (#-bay) and noticed a place that was selling "Nozzles" for injectors. Has anyone out there had any experience with this type of setup. I called them and they said that it was easy to install new nozzles in the stock injectors, but I'm a little wary. Was just wondering if anyone out there has tried these?

I had nozzles installed to get my Stage 5 EDMs. Unfortunately, I didn't have the tools to do it myself, but I was lucky enough to live near a diesel shop. If you know how to swap the tips or know somebody who can for cheaper than buying a whole new injector, I would say go for it. This is contingent on the fact that the nozzles are quality and sold by a person who knows diesels.

Ditto what Mark said. You can buy Edge nozzles by themselves and they are cheap enough that I would recommend buying them over any unknown nozzle brand on ebay. You can get the baddest of the bad jammer nozzles for under $300 for a whole set.

Definately get them pop tested by a local shop and even have them installed if you are not comfortable. They have to remove the nozzle if they have to reshim the injector anyway. I did a set of jammer 4s myself but had them pop tested at a local shop. They ran really well.

If you do install them yourself, be very careful and make sure everything is really clean. A small piece of dirt can really ruin your day if it gets into a nozzle.

Good luck,

Jason
