As I remember, per Dave Fritz's website; the NV241 is rated at 1,028 lb. ft. of input torque whereas the NV241HD is rated at 1,400 lb. ft. In addition, the HD has a heavier duty chain that is also one row wider. As I've said before, best "$100. " I've ever spent!

The funny part about it is prior to ordering my Ram several dealers told me the ONLY difference between the two was PTO capability for the NV241HD.

I went ahead and ordered the HD and then stumbled across the info on Dave's website. I sure would have been pi$$ed if I'd taken the word of several salesman and ordered the non HD. BTW, one of the salesman worked for the largest Dodge truck dealer in the USA.
