Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NV4500 parts

Doe s anybody know a source for the dust boot that goes on the transmission at the base of the shifter? This is not the one in the cab but the one that is underneath mounted directly on the transmission and keeps dirt and dust out of the shifter mechanism. NLA from Dodge or GM. Have not been able to find one from any of the aftermarket transmission places either.



Whoever made these for NV must still make them for some other application I would think.



Sure frustrating not being able to get parts for something that was made as recently as 2005.

Did you try Blumenthal or Standard? Both are vendors of this site.

I had a hard time finding the same boot. When I had the trans rebuilt and new mainshaft installed to put the trans in my Jeep it had a new boot on it when I got it back. Check with a transmission shop that deals with gearboxes not just automatics.
