My first question is, are there any good rebuilders in the S. F Bay Area who are as good as Standard.
The reason that it is going out started as soon as I put in the heavy duty Southbend clutch. There have been articles about clutch replacement and have always said Southbend was the way to go. They also said that engine vibration would now haceeffect the trans. due to the extra heavy springs in the disk. Well after about 15000 milesw all the bearings, sound like they are square. I drive the truck for construction work every day. There are no power or other modifcations.
I had to replace the OEM clutch at 110,000 miles, whichseemed early for me because I have a 1990 350 4x4 that has 390,000 on it and still does'nt need a clutch.
Thanks
