Has any one or does any one know were to get a mount for twin

sticks for a NV4500/205 or a non gated shifting lever for the 205 ,

im haveing shifting problems with my 205 t-case ,but i think its the rails

going south it wont grab 4 low but high works or its the other wat around ,got to sit in truck to renember

either way ,i still hate that gated shifter

they make GMstuff bont wont fit the dodge stuff/or nv4500

You should be able to move the rails back an forth,if not you may have open her up. The gated rails on the 205 can be mod just like the GM ,as long as your not talking about the linkage .

bump -

I'm officially searching for the transmission and bellhousing. What is the year range for the 5600 parts? 5600's aren't specifically '3rd gen' are they?

I have an adaptor and bellhousing for a NV4500 - will it work with the 5600?

I have the coupler sleeve for the 4500, and it should also work with the 5600 with the mods mentioned.

Thx,

UPDATE:

The 6-speed is a 'GO'. Found one yesterday, from an '03 CTD 4x4 rebuilt and ready to go, brought it home for a good price. I already have a 2nd gen flywheel housing, so now my quest is for the 'small stuff', and I am getting myself smart on the clutch components.

I need all the clutch parts, and my biggest issue is how to make a 1st gen hydraulic clutch system work with the 6-speed. My rig is currently an auto, but I have the pedals, master cylinder bracket (up under the dash at the firewall), but that's it. Anyone have the intel on parts necessary, where to get 'em? If a custom made hose is required I can have that done locally - we have a great hose shop here... they can make anything.

Are the hydraulics for the clutch all one unit and pre-bled of are they in the three pieces (master/hose/slave)?

That's exactly what I did, I turned the new coupling down to work with the 6 speed output seal. I used silicone in the spline to hopefully stop oil from leaking past the spline. I'll check the transmission fluid level carefully for the first while to see if it works.

I guess I should have just pulled the seal & filled the void with gear lube but I just hate doing that... just doesn't seem right even though I'm sure it works fine.

Got the NV5600 & transfer case in tonight... . Tight fit! I fabricated the transfer case bracket over the weekend & it works great. I'll try to attach a picture of it.

Thanks for the advice.
Marty1 could you please send me a picture of your shifter you built for the 4x4 thanks sir.. I no this is a super old post just hoping I could see a pic!
