Nv5600 Rebuild

Looking for a good shop in louisvile KY area. To rebuild my NV5600. Had a new clutch installed a few months ago. Never checked trans fluid after a friend did it for me. He forgot to put fluid back in it. Now it’s making noise an hard to shift. I can take out a bring. Just need a good shop.

I'm not familiar with Louisville KY but there were no shops in Las Vegas when I needed a rebuild on my G56 transmission. I had to ship mine to Standard Transmission & Gear in Ft. Worth, TX. Reasonable price and great service. They will tear it down and then provide an estimate. I would imagine that running a transmission without oil is not a good thing so you might want to call them first to discuss should you go that route.

I used Bluementhal TM in OK city... reasonable and had different options for the build. Mine lost the input bearing and needed alot of new parts.

Blumenthal's builds are junk, never again. If you want it done right, slow shifting problems fixed, etc., take it to SuperStick and be done with it. Yes, it is going to cost a bit more but I guarantee once you drive one that has been worked on by those boys you will want to go back.
