Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) O/D Normally OFF switch

After searching through the archives I ran across this device made by intermotive that defaults your overdrive off when you restart your truck. I am curious to see if anyone had tried one of these? More details on link below:

I had one. It was a nuisance so I took it off. Kept forgetting about it until I was on the highway and wondered what was happening.

Yes it did. I didn't work so well with my horrible case of CRS.

Wow that is expensive for what it is IMHO.



A $5 relay and some wire sounds a lot better

The BD Torq loc has a built in inverter function included. I love mine. Just start to drive and it switches for you. About $300. 00 but you get all the bells and whistles to control your transmission loc up. http://www.dieselperformance.com/ram/autoloc_torqloc.html
