Sled Pull / Drag Race results for October Showdown 2002

Dyno Day at Black Mountain Diesel

I'll be headed down 99 about 6pm from stockton area

I hope there will be room to dry camp when i get there at 930-10pm!!!

Looking forward to a fun time. :)

My O'L ragged stock CTD won't be doing any pulling. . Except the 37' 5th, there and back.

Would I be better off taking I-5 then cuttting across to Tulare or just going down 99???

well hello folks long time no see! I have finally managed to dig up $30 and renew. I will be at the event again this year and will be bringing area lighting as I did last year. I am also bringing a working generator (yes it is loud and yes it will be out in timbuck two). I hope to see a lot of folks that I have missed over that past events that I could not attend this year. Physcostroker I especially hope to see you again in the middle of the waggon wheel as I did not get to see you at the madness in NAPA I did not know you had so many hands and arms! You mind if I attach lighting again this year? are you bringing the generator again? As far as there being enough parking as earlier asked if we run out of parking room we have some serious issues! Just remeber it is dry camping and if you don't like noise find a quiet corner as the wagon wheel area gets a bit loud at times and is known for shutting down at around 2 or 3ish... :D Oo.

Your always welcome in my camp :D I hope to get there sometime on Friday in the late afternoon The wife and kids are going to leave to go there before I do and Spunkysram will follow them with the trailer I still have to work for a living and on that day have to deliver paint to Gilroy So I'll be coming solo but just make sure the the wagon wheel has an opening for the trailer :D

Paint delivery to Gillroy  From Rohnert Park :--) Holly cow, that must be some speical paint. About what time? You just might blow by the "RV caravan" on the way. We usually stop and eat somewhare on I-5. So if father time smiles upon us, maybe we'll have a "PHYCO" dinner. :D Oo.

HI all,

Since thi is my first event and I am a little unfamiliar with where everything is at. Could someone give me a low down.

IS the AG center the one you see from 99. What exit do I take.

Where is everyone dry camping. Could bring up the toy hauler. .

Anywhere to run a desert rail????javascript:smilie(':D')

Thanks for any and all info. .

Getting realy excited abot this.

The RackMan

Yes Rackman, you can see the AG center from 99. Not sure which exit but BPINE might chime in with that info. I don't see any reason not to bring the rail. It's a huge open area where we camp so there's plenty of room to toy with the "toys";)

The exit that you need to get off in Tulare is Paige! At the stop sign turn left to the next stop sign and left again back over the freeway. At the next stop sign to right and this road will take you right to the Ag Center. The Depo should have signs out by then to direct you once you reach the Ag Center...

Rick

PM me if you need any more directions... . I live 8 miles from there... .

I'm taking some time off this week and plan on being there Friday sometime afternoon. Will be good to see everyone again... Plan on pulling and drag racing. Will be staying in my truck so I won't miss anything!!:D :D

Steve

Cool deal Steve see ya there. I am going for sure now the motorcycle race I was contemplating got canceled Today.

Just found out today I will be out of training at 12:00 on Friday so that helps with the traffic I should be leaving Coast Guard Island in Alemeda around 12:30 and hope to be down there and checked into the Hotel prior dinner time.

Steve. . several Dairy's in the area, just pick up a load of cow patties and have a fire outside of your rig... that will bring around ALL your friends in a hurry LOL... heck I think that your beer supply would last all weekend that way

Thanks gary for the kind words... . Since I think you and HVAC won't be comming down this year there maybe enough food to go around. :D

As far as beer goes, I have been known to power a few down, however, when on the road, margaritas are the flavor of choice... . especially Blaire Pines, smoothties...

Steve

Did anyone see the add in Trailer Life about the gas powered blender??? It should have had Blairs name on it some where... lol

Rick

Also if you get hungry. .come by my trailer. . there should be a few hot cinnamon rolls... Let me know so that my wife and I can have enough to go around... Mine is the Nash 5er...
