A Special THANK YOU from DEPO to HVAC for starting a chat line about our up comming Diesel Pickup Rally to be held in Tulare,CA on Oct. 21/22.
We are a little behind in time getting hooked
up to this TDR website, but here we are.
Question to HVAC... do we need to get you registered for the Truck Pulls?
For all who need more information, we can post it here on the HVAC chat line but
I'm sure we need to start a DEPO chat line to try to answer any and all questions regarding this event.
But again... special THANKS to HVAC for getting something started. #ad

Hope to see all interested and curious RAM owners there, heck if you know of any PSD owners, challenge them to a PULL OFF.
Thank you DEPO... 800/545-4599

Looks like BD will be there along with ATS, Banks, Super Chips, etc. I may get a booth of my own so I can I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER chat with the sod busters down thataway. They have a lot of diesel in the valley where agriculture is king. Looks like the events will include a truck pull (wondeer if we can get Scourge to tote the sled), a best dressed contest and MUCH MUCH MORE!!! #ad

The thing about this event is it is an integrated party, PSDs and Rams in the same dog pen #ad

Your welcome DEPO, I love events like this and I thank you for hosting the "October Showdown" and also making it an open event #ad

Ron, looks like you and Joe D. can setup right out front of the event eh? No charge I hope. Shades of May Madness!

DEPO, I found my registration forms. I've had them for a couple months at least. Since I did not read them carefully I just spotted the point about not being listed in the advertiser after the 15th of Aug. #ad
My bad #ad
I will send the registration form in this week. We will have a truck in the sled pull. I only have 2wd so being traction challenged, I will yield to Adam, "The Scourge Of The North Bay". He will represent Performance Diesel while I cheer from the sidelines #ad
#ad
He put on a show at Minden last weekend where he found the HX40 won't hang with 55 psi boost levels. We need a new turbo now but something with more cahones! #ad

Now, do you have any wide country roads for the street racing event! Hehehe

HVAC,
Yep. Joe and I will be there and uh, set up?
I haven't a clue what we would set up and charge for? We are a very amusing duo. Joe talks horsepower and I drink beer. Thats it... ... bring me a beer so you can pick Joe's mind! I like it #ad
.
Ron

Ron, you better keep Joe on a short leash. I don't think those Power Stroke fellers are gonna take kindly to Joe installing camplates and afc springs on that V8 engine #ad
#ad

I expect you 4X4 pilots will be tryin a hook to the sled eh #ad
Can't be much different then RVin, just a bit shorter drive! Besides, Adam will need a warm up act!

HVAC there are lots of wide country roads around Tulare #ad
: #ad
: #ad
: And no where near the amount of troopers that were present at Minden. So we should be set to go EH #ad

Thank you all for your input and support in helping to spread the word regarding this first annual all diesel pickup rally out here on the west coast. Were hoping for sunshine and a good time for all. We've got the seminars all lined up. We got some door prizes to be given away. We got trophies and plaques to be given to the winners of the truck sled pulls and the beauty contest and don't forget the TOP DOG award for the best of the best pullers.
Again thanks to all and keep spreading the word.
If anyone still needs more information, please call us at 800/545-4599.
Hope to see as many as possible in a couple of weeks. Oct. 21/22 in case you forgot.
DEPO over and out.

Alrighty guys I have a couple of questions about the pulls, what kind of tires are we limited to, I can get a set of 4 tractor tires that are 36" tall and 12. 4 wide. So is this dot approved only or what?
Next what about hitch heigth, how high can we go? I know the other pulling events I went to had a max hitch heigth of 26".
Later Adam

Hi kids! #ad
Had an email from a concerned citizen today, thought I'd share it.

---------------------------------------------

I cant post this on TDR, Im not a member yet. But I live close to Tulare and
just wanted to tell you a couple things. (1)Is that this is the same location
that the GIANT Farm Show is held at each year. This brings in thousands and
thousands of people each day. (2)As for parking and or RV camping it could hold
every member of TDR even if we all drove 40 foot motorhomes. (3)The best hotel
around is probly the Holiday Inn iv Visalia. All the others that are talked about
are OK too. (4) If your going to bring an RV and you want to hook up then Riverland
is the best of the bunch. (5)Just incase someone has a small plane and wants
to fly in,there's a small airport right in front of where the show is being
held. Which if no one has mentioned yet,is right off freeway 99. You cant miss
this place. . ITS HUGE!

---------------------------------------------

So thanks to the citizen for the info.

I nearly missed this event but things are looking up now #ad
Seems the police don't seem to enjoy my driving as much as I do! #ad
#ad

Diesel Ram thx for the hotel tip... .

I may show up to the event with some INJECTORS anyone want to help me stuff them in maybee the evening before!! (FREEBEER... FREEFOOD) #ad

I'll see you all there, I have 5 gallons of Delo 400 15w-40 oil that won't be needing. I am now using Amsoil in my truck. Lets trade or make me an offer, contact me by e-mail. I'll be in Tulare Saturday night.
