So the check engine light comes on today while driving into work. My drive is about 50 miles of 4 lane highway with the cruise set at 70 and then 20 miles of big city traffic. I noticed the light just as I was approaching the city. When I was slowing down for the first stop light the truck stumbled and shuddered, but then behaved fine the rest of the way. While on the highway with the cruise on I noticed no odd behavior and all of the gauges indicated everything was normal. Below is the combination of codes that I got when I cycled the key... . any ideas??
P0234 - Turbo Over Boost
P0107 - MAP Sensor low
P0480 - Cooling fan 1 control circuit open
P0483 - Cooling fan speed
P0642 - Sensor Reference Voltage 1 Circuit low
I have suspected that the fan was bad for a while as when under load and the temp heats up I don't hear the fan cycling and when in traffic at a stop and the AC is on it stops blowing cold until I start moving again. As for the Turbo over boost and the MAP sensor I have no clue.
There are no boxes or programmers on the truck, currently the only upgrade is an ICEBOX intake and Cool Blue Hose. An odd combination that doesn't make sense to me.
