I have a friend that has a hot tub that he wants setup on a Off-Peak meter. He already has the Meter hooked up with the disconnect system. The only thing left is that there is suppose to be a relay hooked up to some part of the tub, but I am not sure what it is. I was told that it is suppose to go to the pump control wire, but he cant find the directions he got from the electric company.

This is the only diagram I have, of which is all hooked up. you can see the hot tub 5amp relay in yellow, but that is the only thing we dont know what to do with.

I would check to see if the relay isn't already wired in on the tub side after the main buss. I can't make out your diagram. The tub I put in only required 2 hot fedds with a ground for 220 hook up. I bugged mine in outside off my main @ the meter. The feed for the tub is going down out of the box on the right.

I CAN NOT MAKE OUT YOUR Drawing either but you need a timer and relay to turn on the hot tub during the off time, here they have the meter record off time, in reading your post i think the power company has supplied the timer and relay if this is the case you have to unhook the hot tub from the breaker panel and connect it to the relay, would need to know more to help

CK, sorry, I dont know why I cant get it to size up so you can read it. I think I got it figured out. The 5a fuse is suppose to be hooked up to a circuit in the hot tub that when you turn on the jets it over rides the O-P system so you can use it during off-peak times.
