HEY WALLY - what's the prospect on seeing that Spinner oil analysis report? Oo. Oo.
Mundgyver said:Well I am somewhat disappointed.
2 um = 2398
5 um = 888
10 um = 246
15 um = 95
25 um = 22
50 um = 2
Copper went from 35 to 134 with iron being at 23 and lead at from 4 to 6.
Everything else is ok, so near as I can figure, either the bronz bushing in the spinner is my source or I am losing a bearing.
I have changed out my oil and will run for 1,000 and take another sample and see what we get, then I will disable the Spinner and change out the oil and run another 1,000 and see what we get.
This will give me a direction to go.
Oh the oil had 15,772 on it with no additional oil added at any time and the TBN was at 6. 1 still ok to use by the report. I have over 174,000 now on the engine with lots of towing, heaviest is at 23,000. The engine is still strong and still have my original VP.
Life goes on and we shall see what we shall see![]()
That the plan so far, will let you know when I get the next report.

This is from my full flow PureOne that was in service 9k/13m
There appears to be, roughly, a 3-4:1 increase in number as you go smaller.
This appears to work for just about any filter . . including a bypass.
You appear to have 10X the filtering across the board.
