I'd love to hear comments from those of you who do oil analysis.
At the end of May my wife and I took off in the truck on our honeymoon down through Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, and then back up through Nevada, Idaho, and again through Oregon, Washington and Canada back to Anchorage. The main stops were:
Surrey, BC (Piers' shop!
)
Vancouver, BC
Victoria (Vancouver Island)
Los Angeles, CA
Los Vegas, NV
Reno, NV
American Falls, ID
We ended up with 9,871 miles on that trip, from 5/28 to 6/28. As soon as we got back I changed the oil and sent a sample to Blackstone. I was a little worried, because I typically change my oil at around 4 or 5 thousand miles, and I wasn't sure it'd be a pretty picture with almost 10,000 miles on it. I was more than a little surprised though--check it out and let me know what you think:
