"Oil Change Required" message

Hi All! I have this message "oil change required" that keeps coming back.
I have changed oil and oil filter and reset it by putting the key in on position and pressed the gas pedal 3 times. It stays off for a day and the message comes right back.
Any idea? This is my dually 2007 Ram 3500 6.7.

Did you get acknowledgement in the flashing CEL after pressing the pedal?

You have to push the pedal kind of slowly, 3 times, to get it to accept the reset. Not too slow, not too fast. When it takes there is a brief pause, then the CEL will flash to acknowledge the reset.

Thanks Michael it worked. The CEL light flashes 4 or 5. Must let it finish flashing

Nope though it worked. But the message " Oil change required" came back today

After cel flashes did you shut off the ignition?

Yes shut off and removed key

The change indicator is based on a computer program, if it won't clear, something is wrong in your ECU.. I'd try it again, and get your oil sampled.
