Let truck sit for 1 hour. Loosen filter through wheel well, slip up a 1 gallon Ziplock freezer bag, unscrew filter , lock bag, pull filter through well opening. clean filter mounting boss and area, place new filter through opening and let sit at angle. Fill to within 1 inch of top using turkey baster or similar, lift filter up and screw in position. Crankcase drain into a cut down 5 gal bucket.
Refill and done. Is even easier with wheel removed for tire rotation. And I'm 63.
The picture denotes the orientation the filter is required to be in AFTER it's removed from the filter base........for those that opt to remove it from the wheel well. How a zip-loc bag survives that is beyond me......but more power to the folks that choose to do it that way.Your picture shows what appears to be a filter mounted horizontally (mine is mounted vertically).
Curious as to what vehicle the picture is from.
