Have a 2004 Dodge Regular cab with about 350,000 miles that drips oil in front of motor, not big leak, but leaves drips in garage. The radiator is also really oily and dirty. Is my oil leak most likely from front main engine seal? If it is, how hard is it to fix and where to get seal, etc. Assume radiator needs to come out, thinking about replacing radiator at same time, is heavier duty radiator worth the extra costs? Thanks a lot!

Front main or timing cover. Clean it up and see where it comes from.

Speedy sleeves works well on the front main if needed.

You made it 350K with the stock radiator, I’d think a replacement that has the same cooling would be plenty.

Timing cover has to come off, removing the rad will help with working room. Cummins makes repair sleeves paired with seals. You will need a seal and sleeve install tool. You can look for a rental or just buy a cheep Chinese copy of the Cummins branded one.

That's how I sleeved and sealed mine when I resesled my front end. It's not a hard process but I'd recommend buying a second seal to have on hand incase you damage the first during install(return after your done) also Toyota FIPG sealant for the timing cover.

Will second the Toyota FIPG (Fix In Place Gasket)! Makes all other Black RTV look like kindergarten grade! One caution is to make sure to wear old clothes, get some on you and it's a bear to get off!!!!!!!!!!!
