my manual says that our trucks are covered for 100k against oil leaks on certain parts, my truck seems to be leaking either from a rear seal or oil pan gasket, has any one had any luck getting DC to fix them? My truck has 97K on it now and I would like to be able to get this fixed on thier dime not mine.

just asked the same question

If you serach back a day or so I asked the exact same question. I have the extended warranty (7y/100K). If you do not have the extended warranty. I do not believe it's covered.

Read your warranty

I took mine in at 76K for transfer case, rear main, and timing case leaks.

They told me the transfer case was covered on my 7yr/100k and the oil pan was covered on 100k engine warranty.

Maybe it depends on how the dealer calls it. That's why I say read your warranty. If you already know the answer they are less likely to try and BS you.

I just checked into the same thing for a rear main seal, dealer said it WAS covered by the 7/100,000. But I am not too sure about letting the stealer touch my truck. They were at least honest about that they had never done one before. But I don't want to be on their learning curve if you know what I mean.

Well I'm going to give it a try next week, I think I remember in my manual that the Cummins has a 100k warranty on certain things regardless of whether or not you had an extended warranty and oil leaks on certain items was covered.
