I've been watching my oil pressure at start up and have notice that it seems to take a little more time to come up to pressure. Seems to take about 5 to 15 seconds at times. Almost like it is filling the filter. Reading the shop manual says that pressure regulator should open at about 65 psi. If this was slightly stuck open would this cause the symptoms that I am seeing? Has anybody seen this before?

Nothing to worry about, if you watch your gauge, you will notice it does not come up untill all the idiot lights go out. The ECM wont power up that gauge untill they go out. I confirmed this by loosening the oil plug on top of the filter housing. Trust me, within about 2 seconds of startup, the oil pressure is up.
You do have oil pressure almost immediatley after startup (ALOT faster then the gauge shows), DC just likes to scare us.
