Oil thoughts....please

I have run nothing but Valvoline Premium Blue CI+ since new in my signature truck. When the writing was on the wall that it was going to be discontinued, I stock-piled a few cases. I have just completed my last oil change with it....I'm out! What would you guys switch to? Should I stick with CI+ (Amsoil still makes it)?...or just fly with the latest classification? I've never used synthetic. The truck has 162k on it and doesn't use a drop. I am admittedly, crazy meticulous with this truck. Would appreciate your input! TIA

I’ve used only Chevron Delo 15-40 in both my dodge pickups. They’ve combined for almost 700,000 miles between them. I think you should consider it. Available everywhere.

I have so many different oils and lubricants, for different things...….. my shop resembles the oil aisle of many auto parts stores!

What updates on the DME, John? UOA yet?

Liking it so far, but nothing to base that on other than specs on the 18. The 05 showed higher pressure, cooler temps, and better heat resistance. No UOA on either.

This batch of DME won’t come out for a while.
