I have been searching the oil bypass systems and I think the Oilguard may be the best bang for the buck. I have looked at toilet paper, paper towels, Amsoil (to expensive to maintain) and Purdyne (also pricey). The replacement filters for the Dodge system are $13. 00 a piece. More expensive than toilet paper or paper towels but they do seem reasonable being that Oilguard recommends extending your drain interval to twice the interval your at now and replacing the full flow and bypass filters at that time if you are not using oil analysis. If analysis is done they recommend the bypass filter be changed when the analysis tells you to change the oil. I know some of you have the Oilguard system, your opinion please.
