Chris Sutton out here in california has done a lot for us in developing a viable solution to the fuel system on the 24v
we are at the point where we wanted 8an line and were in need of weber adaptors that would go into the pump(VP) and into the fuel filter housing, We searched very hard for a couple of weeks and then finally I found a man that primised me he could cnc the 8an to 12x1. 5mm weber adaptors at a cost that would be in line with an over the counter price of a manufactured product... ... ... ... .
well low and behold after we got the ball rolling on the custom fittings, we have located fittings already in productions.
so please at this point lets be sure to buy the fittings from csutton so we are not stuck with them, this was not done (in process)with intentions to make profit just to hel tdr members... ..... so please support the people who are trying to help tdr members and trying hard to R&D fuel systems and publish viable solutions for our truck

Thank you for taking the time to read this

Brandon/Chris,

I am most certainly interested in this, as I know Chris has done so much work on the fuel systems. I figured I'd wait until he got all the bugs out of the system, and then jump in with both feet. I definitely want a full fuel system upgrade for Godzilla.

Yo Brandon, you know i'm in man, but I might need you to mail them to me. My wife said if i visit your shop any more, I will be living in my truck. Good thing i got that truck tent. LOL. . Phil

I would take one for my VP44 if I hadn't already made one. But I'm sure you'll be able to sell these fittings without a problem, Chris. Would sure suck to be left holding the bag on extra's, but the demand is definately there, so I'll bet it'll turn out fine.
TX you may want to rethink putting five of those fittings in. That would imply that you are planing to leave the stock lift pump in place? To plump a stock lift pump and fuel filter housing with -8 line is, well, frankly a bizarre setup in my mind. Have you seen what this fitting looks like? It looks like a garden hose with a soda straw on the other end. IMHO this adapter should only be used where absolutely necessary, IE into the VP44. That's providing like me you are not brave enough to drill and tap your VP44 to eliminate the last restriction in the supply line - which has been done before #ad
Using it anywhere else, such as an unmodified stock fuel filter housing or lift pump is defeating the whole point of going with -8 over -6 IMO.

Brandon-
Count me in also. Figure after the new transmission from Bill K. I am going to be needing that and maybe replace lift pump before I get my truck stuck someplace for another 3 weeks. BTY thanks for your help two weeks ago at the get together at your shop. Had a great time. Also sent my valve cover in today to get powder coated, so I should have the other one done by next week.

paulk--glad to see ya made it home--did ya get the transmission thing figured out?? I'll post some info as soon as I get it about the fittings--thanks for the support guys--chris

Chris,
SPoke to Bill K. yesterday and told him the transmission is aweome. Just have to do some fine tuning with the shift between second and third. Took it real steady going home, did not want to get stranded for some odd reason. Now that I am home it's play time. #ad
Also, could you e-mail me the specs for the ladder bars? I talked with L&L and they said I needed the o. d. for the axle, and I don't have anyway of measuring it.
