I am looking at buying the new 40' weekend warrior RV/Toy trailer, to haul around the US while I work on contracts. I am trying to ensure that my truck has plenty of power to pull this beast. On top of the trailer weight, which I don't have yet (new to market), I will be hauling my quad, a fatboy, all my tools, aircompressor, fuel, parts, gear, computers, satellite dishes, etc... basically this will be my home on wheels. Right now I have guages (fuel pressure, boost, and pyro), 4" exhaust, TTPM, and DDIII injectors. I will be adding a Jake brake and electronic brakes for the trailer. What I would like to know is what other enhancements would you recommend. I def. don't mind smoke, and not afraid to work on the dog. I really don't want to upgrade the turbo to an hx40 due to all the failures I have seen on here. Just give your . 02 worth and I will wade through them. By the way, just rolled over 100k on the beast yesterday.

Morph, I would check out the BD 4" brake, as you already have the 4" exhaust. Other than that, looks good from where I am sitting :D .

I agree with Big Saint... looks to me like your power will be about perfect. I tow heavy loads of hay, (over 12000lbs) and I can accelerate at will up the passes.

I would definitely add an exhaust brake. You will never tow without one after you try it. I love my E Brake. I think they all have their merits.

a bit off topic :)

Morph, how do you like your raptor? I have been kicking around what quad to buy. Banschee, raptor, Bombadeer. Would you buy a raptor again? Eveyone says the Banchee is the best??

Well, I like the raptor, but it is not stock. I ride with 3 modified banshees, and they are good bikes also. I have added alot of stuff to my raptor to enhance it's performance: +2+2 axle, +2 swingarm, +3 a arms, msr shorty clutch lever, emergency blockoff plate, cam, 11:1 piston, ct racing full race exhaust, pro flo air kit, dyna jet kit..... I like the raptor, just to be different. If you are wanting all out speed for dunes, then the banshee is the way to go, 2 strokes make power easier, but the raptor gives it a close run for the money, and you can't beat the electric start and reverse. Something the banshees don't have.

Morph, I havn't alot as far as bombing yet but one of the things that I have done is to get more cool fresh air into turbo,I have the K&N but made my own housing,I tried the psychotti with hole in firewall sounds really cool but an engineer friend told me I was not getting enough positive pressure due to forward motion and draft,so I am now drawing air from stock fender location aswell as opposite side of grill below windshield bottle,VIA 3'' flez hose,so both intakes are directly into filter housing and all fresh air. sorry about long winded message but with all the traveling you do this will really help,

good luck, Joe Moglia:)
