I notice on your sig that you have a mix of Diprcola and EV2's. Do they look like they match ?
Yes... there about as close as you're going to get to the look of DiPricol's.
I started with a set of Banks gauges mounted on the pillar (boost, EGT, trans temp). They were HORRIBLE gauges in every way (low quality, poor inconstant lighting, and inaccurate) but I didn't know that when I bought them. I made the mistake of relying on the famous Banks name.
I then added a DiPricol mechanical fuel pressure gauge mounted on the steering column and I really like it. That made me decide to go ahead and replace my Banks gauges with DiPricol's, but by the time I got around to it, I'd apparently waited too long because by then Danin was having trouble supplying gauges to the marketplace and I couldn't find them in stock anywhere. Since Isspro had a great reputation, I started looking at their lineup and settled on the EV2's as being the closest in look to the DiPricol's. They're great gauges and seem to be very accurate. The POS Banks gauges got pitched in the garbage!
The only thing negative that I can say about them is that their backlighting will turn completely off before the truck's dash lights will. This is because the EV2's lighting uses LED's which apparently can only get so dim. At some point when the lighting voltage from the truck gets low enough, the little computer inside the gauge turns the backlighting off. This is probably irrelevant for 90% of drivers, but I like to turn down the instrument panel lighting on the truck way down when I'm driving at night in dark areas... it preserves night vision. If I want to keep the EV2's lit, sometimes I have to keep the instrument panel lights slightly brighter than I prefer. It's a minor issue and I wouldn't let that stop you from buying them.
Oh... and if you do decide to buy EV2's, be sure and treat yourself to their optional lighting harness. While it's not mandatory to use, it does make installation faster and simpler.
Best regards,
