I want to take a moment to give a little shout out to Outbags USA Holsters for great customer service. I have used their LS2 leather holster for quite some time now for my daily carry and have been extremely pleased with it.
I recently purchased a new S&W Shield EZ 9. I initially purchased a Kydex holster for it from another vendor. Though it holds the gun well, it isn't comfortable and I'm not pleased with the design. Anyway, I really prefer a leather holster to begin with but have been having a hard time finding one. I went to the Outbags site to look for one similar to what I already own, but, I didn't see one listed yet for the EZ 9. So, I emailed their customer service from their site. Within a day, I received an email from them stating that they were planning to release the Shield EZ line in April, but have been delayed due to the COVID-19 shutdowns.
Here is where it gets interesting, they offered to custom build me a holster for the Shield EZ 9 in the color leather I wanted as a pre-production model and send it out if I didn't mind waiting approx 7-10 days for production. I just placed the order today and it should be here the first week of April. And get this, they are charging me what the production model will cost and no extra charge for the custom build.
