My bro-in-law just bought a low profile 4700 international crew cab. It has a 225 hp DT 466E. Nice truck, but doesnt' have the cojones his 2002 HO with goodies does. He asked me if I could turn it up... I looked the truck over, it's alot like the Cummins, very simple inline 6 design, and quite beefy. Turbo & intercooler look ok, but I didn't I. D. the turbo.
Anyway, the fuel injection pump looks like a P7100, complete with break-off screw on the AFC housing. Deja vu.
Does anyone know how much fuel these things can take? Will the cam plates used in the P7100 cummins applications work?
Any experience/input is appreciated.
