After all the posts I have put up and no help, I continued on with my testing. I found on Geno's garage an easy test for the FCA, remove it and hook up 12V from the battery; if it engages, its good. I performed this test after a P0251 code and it was good. I drained the filters of any water; there was none. So finally I decided to start the truck back up and immediately it sounded like crap with a nasty rattle, popped another code; P0088 High rail pressure and the P0251 remains.
What could this be; pressure sensor, relief valve... . ? I recently installed new DDP nozzles, could this be it even after an initial 300 miles of trouble free operation? What should the nozzle part # be? The ones that were sent to me had 5500 on them.
I would appreciate some type of input... Todd at TCDiesel, you have anything on this?
