Yes but what does that mean, does it mean the fuel pump is bad? does it mean just a sensor is bad? what? it was exceptionally cold today . . -2 without windchill... . could that have anything to do with it.

I guess time to install that gauge. .

Here's 252 ~

P0252 Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control "A" Range/Performance (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

My guess would be a sensor - probably not the basic injection pump itself - the cold temp may have caused it...

Good luck.

I was actually at a truck stop and i filled up that diesel, and the temperatures weren't so low then, so i was like why not. . i was doing highway milage at the time. .

now it all of the sudden droped 40 degrees lower, from 25 to -15 . .

is that diesel prone to mor jelling or what?

Diesel fuel WILL jell at those temps - as a check, might inspect the fuel heater to make sure it's functioning properly - and a good anti-jelling additive would be advisable down at those temps - Stanadyne or Power Service seem to be the most commonly available brands...

Yeah, i will push it into the garage and let it warm up before i start it again.

Thing about this is i've had the fuel preasure gauge at home for last few months, never had a chance to install it, went last night and looked at it saw that the instructions are inadequeate, no diagrams at all. and by the looks of it there are some fittings that don't fit anywhere.

anyone have any diagrams for a westech fp gauge install with isolator.
