P0489 and P2262 turbo time , or ????

Stock 2007.5 mega 6.7. Truck runs fine, only noticeable items are check engine light and exhaust brake does not work. Any idea how to fix. Do I need a new Turbo? Should I do a stock/rebuilt turbo, Bd screamer, Fleece cheetah, ATS Aurora 3000. does any one have experience with these?

What have you done other than read the codes? From what I can see about these codes are that it could be a wiring issue. This means that a connector is not seated or a pin may have been pushed out. Look for melted harness. Have you pulled the EGR valve to confirm that it opens and closes freely? Need to do some diagnostic before just pulling the parts trigger! I'm sure that you don't have an unlimited budget or you wouldn't be asking for help on here.

Could be just a bad actuator, just did mine in Dec. Maybe others have more info to pass on.
