Light keeps coming on with this code. I've cleared it a couple of times, but as soon as the accelerator gets close to the floor it comes back on. It's a 2008 3500 4x4 C&C with 103k on the clock.

Is this for a 6. 7ltr or a truck in your sig. ?
I am not sure if the 3500 C & C are the same as the pick-up trucks for software flashes. But if they are then you have an AK version, my latest flash was AS and this was done in June of 09. I have read on another forum that the 08 pick-up trucks are now being flashed with an AV version. Per a Dodge Service Tec on this forum each model year will have their own flash version and this will be designated by different letters at the end of the software flash.
There is a web site for Chrysler products to find the latest flash for your truck. Click on this site and then on the left hand side bar click "J2534 Flash Availability". You will then need to do a search for your model of truck.
Hope this helps you and good luck.

That's what they told me today at the dealer. The tech was really nice. This isn't my truck, it is one I was thinking about buying. Tech said the truck had been a frequent visitor to the service department. They have done everything dodge has recommended to fix it to no avail. It has had this problem for about 25000 miles. They have replaced lift pumps, CP3, FCA a couple of times the whole engine was even replaced around 80k.
