P2563

Tonight I started the truck and received a P2563 code, turbo charger boost control position sensor A circuit perf/range. I have seen on some other forms that this indicates the turbo needs to be cleaned. Does this sound about right? Any opinions or insight before I call the dealer?



The truck has all the latest flashes and this is the first check engine light in 40K+.

Your dealer will be tickled pink to clean it for free. They might even replace it AND clean out the EGR while there. Thats what they did when I had that code at about 48K miles.


How many miles on your truck?

I have just over 41K right now. So far this is the first engine related issue so if that is all it is I am feeling pretty good about it. Truck runs great so I don't feel any negative effects for now. I guess I am stopping at the dealer before work on monday. Thanks for the reply.
